DJL SOLUTIONS INC ("we", "us" or "our") developed this privacy policy to explain how we may collect, use and disclose your Personal Information when you access the EthiPoint website, the EthiPoint services and any associated content (collectively “EP”) or interact with us. By accessing EP or providing data to us, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of information according to this policy.

Information Collection and Use

We collect information about you that you voluntarily provide to us when you register EP user account, build your ethical profile or post on or send via EP. It may include but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, address, city and state, zip code, gender, school, major, date of birth, work experiences, skills, profile image, interested good causes, organization representative's information, tax id such as EIN and SSN, tax-exempt status, mission, and website address.

We use such information to provide service, to identify, contact and communicate with you, or to protect the rights of other users of EP or others to enforce the Terms of Use of EP. When you provide certain information, we let you know if such information is optional and/or not visible to other users. You may access and update certain information about you after logging to your EP user account.

We may collect web log data to combat fraud, including information such as your IP address, HTTP headers, web pages that you visit, access times and other statistics.

We do not run advertisements, other than the ethical profiles, good works or volunteer needs posted by our users. We do not sell, share, rent or trade users' personal information for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not work with third parties such as network advertisers who use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons, Flash LSOs and other tracking technologies.

We retain information to operate and improve EP as needed for our business purposes, public interests, and/or as required or permitted by law. To dispose of personal data, we may delete it or take other appropriate steps. Data may persist in copies made for backup, business continuity purposes and audit for additional time.

We may disclose user information in the following circumstances:

Third Parties

We may use third-party service providers to facilitate or improve the service, or enhance the security of EP. Sometimes these third parties have access to your information to perform the tasks assigned to them, for example, to collect and process information for payment. They are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

EP may contain links to other sites, for example, a website link on the profile page of an organization user of EP. These external sites are not operated by us and we have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of them. Please review privacy policies of any third-party sites linked to from EP.

Activity Stream Visibility Option

Your activity stream, by default, can be viewed by other EP users. You have the option to hide your activities to others by opting out at your profile edit page after logging to your EP user account. Your activities will be invisible to other EP users starting from the time you opt out until you opt in again. Note that some activities, such as posting volunteer needs or good works involving other volunteers, must always be visible to others so that other users can apply to volunteer and volunteers can get acknowledged by other users.

Security

We take precautions to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of your personal information. We have made good faith efforts to store data securely, but can make no guarantees.

Children's Privacy

EP is intended for a general audience and is not directed at individuals under the age of majority. We do not allow anyone under the age of 16 to open EP user account. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 16. In the case we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it, unless we are legally obligated to retain such information. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

International Transfers of Data

By accessing/using EP, or providing data to us, you consent we may use and disclose your personal information we collect as described in this policy or as communicated to you, transfer it outside your resident jurisdictions, and store or process it in USA and elsewhere in the world via our third-party service providers, including places that have different data protection rules than your original regions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we update it, we will change the “Last Updated” date.
